Honeycomb Group creates new role to highlight commitment to the customer voice

We've created a brand-new role to reinforce our commitment to, and champion the importance of, the customer voice.

This month social housing professional Laura Jackson joined Honeycomb Group as Customer Voice Specialist. 

Her new and highly specialist role builds on our ongoing customer engagement work, ensuring that the customer voice remains at the heart of everything we do as an organisation.

Laura brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the social housing sector, with her previous roles including Customer Liaison Officer and Money Advisor at affordable housing providers.

She’ll work alongside our wider teams, including affordable housing provider Staffs Housing and charitable services Glow and Concrete, to champion the customer voice and embed it into services.

Executive Director of Operations, Mary Walker said: “We’re thrilled to have welcomed Laura to Honeycomb Group and can’t wait to see how her new role revolutionises our approach to customer involvement.

“She’ll play a key part in helping teams right across our organisation to deliver on our new customer voice strategy. This will see us look to engage customers in new and innovative ways, to ensure our customer groups, that influence our services, are truly representative of the communities that we serve.

“We want to ensure our homes and services continue to meet the needs of our customers, while also being able to respond to the new consumer standards and best practices across the housing and charity sectors.”

Customer Voice Specialist, Laura Jackson, added: “I have really enjoyed my first few weeks at Honeycomb Group.

“Born and raised in Staffordshire, I know the challenges local people face. I can already see how my experience and education in social welfare sector will help me to shape and support the Group’s customer involvement ambitions.

“I am looking forward to advocating for our customers, I want to make sure that our services continue to meet their needs, and that our all our decisions are influenced by their voices.”
