Our Customer Assurances Group plays a pivotal role in ensuring that everything we do at Honeycomb Group is informed by the needs, feedback, and lived experiences of our customers.
The CAG is dedicated to ensuring that our policies, services, and decisions are all aligned with what is best for you, our customers.
The CAG means that here at Honeycomb Group, your customer voice is not only heard, but really drives the direction of our work.

Chair of our Customer Assurances Group (CAG)
Barry Russell
We're delighted to have Honeycomb Group resident, Barry Russell, as the Chair of our Customer Assurances Group.
Barry has been a tenant with Staffs Housing for over 30 years, so he has a unique, lived experience of what it's like to live in social housing. He's also worked for a local council and been part of various tenant engagement panels, which means he's gained a great understanding of the social housing sector from both sides.
Barry has been an involved customer for many years. He has demonstrated dedication, passion, and a deep understanding of both the challenges and opportunities within social housing. We're very proud to have him Chair our CAG.
Barry said: “I want to make sure that tenants’ voices are always at the heart of everything we do. It's essential that the changes we make are guided by what tenants want and need, and that they feel empowered to speak up when something needs to change.
“Everyone brings their own life experiences and perspectives. It’s important that we embrace these differences because it helps us build services that represent the diverse communities we serve. My goal is to make sure everyone has a fair opportunity to contribute and be heard.
“I’m proud to be given the opportunity to take on this role. It’s a chance to make a real impact not just for the tenants, but for the wider community too. Together, we can make Honeycomb Group a place where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued.”
