A home that is right for you
What is an adaptation?
An adaptation is where we can make a change to your home to ensure it meets your needs.
There are different kinds of adaptations - we call them minor and major - but it's something we'll discuss openly with you alongside an Occupational Therapist and our trusted contractors.

An adapted bungalow in Dresden for a child with a life-limiting illness
"We’re so relieved and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders.”
We partnered with The Donna Louise to build adapted homes at Swallows Nest, Dresden, to support children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
The homes have wider doors and entrance halls, with larger children’s bedrooms to make space for medical equipment. The garden patio can also be accessed by French doors from both the children’s bedroom and living room, giving plenty of access to the outdoor space.
It's been 'a lifeline' for families like Poppy and Wayne's, providing a huge support to their son, Ruben, who has a life-limiting illness.
